The Pappy’s Protection Plan is valid for one year from date of purchase. As a thank you to our customers, Pappy’s HVAC upholds a 5-year courtesy warranty on minor repairs we complete for those who choose to be a part of our maintenance plan. The only exclusions would be coils, compressors, and refrigerant. All minor repairs such as blower motors, contactors, capacitors, fan motors, zone dampers, control boards, etc. qualify as long as the annual maintenance agreement is maintained and does not lapse at any time in that 5- year warranty period.

*Discount does not apply to refrigerant prices. **Free service call is discounted for the full diagnostic fee only, one time in the full year period. Parts and/or labor necessary do not apply but will still receive the 15% discount. ***Parts are warrantied as long as agreement is maintained and does not lapse at any time. ***Coils, compressors, and refrigerant are excluded from the 5-year warranty.

NOTE: An HVAC system includes one outdoor unit and one indoor unit.

Pappy’s One Time Tune Up

Maintaining your equipment helps prevent future problems and unwanted costs. Keep your cooling and heating system at peak performance by having Pappy’s do annual pre-season check-ups. Pappy’s gets busy once summer and winter comes, so it's best to have us check the cooling system in the spring and the heating system in the fall.


Cooling Maintenance (Straight A/C System or Heat Pump System)

Indoor

  • Check thermostat.

  • Check indoor disconnect.

  • Check and Clean indoor evaporator coil.

  • Check indoor blower bearings for oil and leakage.

  • Check and clean drain lines.

  • Check all wiring and electrical connections.

  • Check ductwork.

  • Check static pressure.

  • Verify amp draws for indoor blower motor.

  • Verify air temperatures.

  • Verify return air filter is clean.

Outdoor

  • Check outdoor disconnect.

  • Remove all debris from outdoor unit.

  • Check and Clean outdoor condenser coil.

  • Check fan motor bearings for wear and oil leakage.

  • Check all wiring and electrical connections.

  • Check capacitor tolerance.

  • Check contactor for pitting and voltage drop.

  • Verify amp draws for compressor and outdoor fan motor.

  • Verify refrigerant pressures and temperatures.

  • Verify drains are clear and draining.

Indoor

  • Check all wiring and electrical connections.

  • Verify air temperatures.

  • Verify return air filter is clean.

Outdoor

  • Check outdoor disconnect.

  • Check all wiring and electrical connections.
